While much of Multimedia Instruction covers specific technology tools such as Camtasia and Adobe Captivate, these would be empty tools without specific theories related to using multimedia in instruction, as researched and assembled by Clark and Meyer in the text e-Learning and the Science of Instruction. I have used blogs and video as well as a variety of other online tools for a number of years in secondary instruction, but found my practice improved significantly when I followed direction.
